QSM Diagnostics, a biotech startup out of Boston, hired me to build out multiple core software components of their business. Multiple user roles interacted with different pieces of the platform, all of which needed to integrate with each other.
Their customers needed a dashboard to view medical data and register medical products, where their data would be protected by login credentials. The lab technicians needed a workflow and recording system to manage tasks, and upload data back into the database. This piece of this platform also integrated directly with physical lab equipment.
The outcome of the project was a front end dashboard that displayed appropriate data to the right user, integrated with the same database that was populated by the lab workers' portal.
These two components also integrated with their e-commerce site.
Lack of interconnectedness among their existing stack lended to an insufficient user experience and longer lead times for fulfillment.
A dataflow between different systems used along the pipeline that made for a cohesive operational platform that serves not only internal users, but customers themselves.
Freed up at least 3 hours per order, helped set them up to scale.
